Westwood Furniture has always been owned and operated by two families. Today David Cain (r) and Joseph Kelliher (l) are the third and second-generation owners of their respective families.

George Kelliher and Ralph Cramer founded the company in 1948. The business thrived and expanded by serving the growing suburbs south and west of Boston.

In 1998, we added a North Shore store in Middleton, MA. For over 50 years a simple philosophy has been our guide: sell quality furnishings at reasonable prices and service it like crazy!

It must work because we have scores of second and third generation families as loyal customers.

Upholstery

At Westwood Furniture our search for the very best values almost always lead us to factories that are a lot like us – small, family owned, service and quality fanatics. These seldom are the “big names” of our industry. But all offer a great value in their price range. Companies like Friendship, Furniture Craftsman, Hallagan and Temple, not exactly celebrity status – but we believe they give you more quality, selection, comfort, and service than the well known brands. If traditional, sensibly scaled, comfortable upholstery is what you need, you should visit us soon!

Pricing

This is what surprises most first time shoppers. They knew we carried great quality, their friends told them about our service, and they presumed we would be priced beyond their budget. But then they discover fabulous sofas for less than $1,000, some occasional tables under $200 and solid wood bedrooms that average $2500 to $4500, and five piece dinettes that start at just over $1100.

Our low prices shouldn’t come as a surprise to them or you. After all, you don’t stay in business for almost 60 years if you are overpriced. And remember, our prices always include: inspection, deluxing, free delivery and setup. And everything comes with our limited 5 year warranty. Try to find all that in any other store!
