Hile Studio
Since 1989 we have sold more Mission furniture from more resources than
any other retailer in the Boston area. We are, so to speak, Mission experts.
And we feel that Hile Studio makes the finest examples of the genre you
could ever own. When antique dealers require a piece to blend perfectly
with century old originals, they turn to Hile Studio.
Made in Morovia, CA, and backed by their lifetime warranty, every piece is handcrafted from Select Grade quarter sawn oak, not #1 and #2 Common, that others use. Foregoing the shortcut of veneers, all inlays are authentic, using maple, walnut, cherry, aluminum and copper. Other quality features include costly hand hammered hardware, tongue and groove joinery, dovetail drawers, and finally, shellac and beeswax hand rubbed finishes. All are features that Gustav Stickley would have recognized as original to his own pieces.

Custom Craft Mattresses
Custom Craft Mattresses weigh about twice as much as the "S" brand we had carried. Heavy gauge spring wire, inch thick insulator pads, and solid slab high density foam mean years of wonderful sleep with no sag and no annoying "compression" of the comfort layers.
Plus you can tweak the comfort by choosing firm or resilient foundations, have a no flip or two sided mattress, and even custom size your set to fit antique beds!
And here is the biggest surprise! With quality like this you would expect to pay $1800, $2500, $3000 or more for a queen set. But our every day prices are about half of that!

Moosehead
We regret to report that after 60 years of business, Moosehead has ceased production. We do have some stock available, mostly in Gold finish on maple and Encore finish on ash. Please call us for stock availability or other special needs. We have found another American solid wood resource that we think will offer compatible quality, styles and finishes at a comparable price. While we are not at liberty to reveal more at this time, by June this site should have more news!

Made in Pennsylvania of solid cherry and cherry veneers, Spectra Woodworking offers a contemporary look in a beautifully crafted bedroom collection. Part of our Furniture That Fits Collection, you’ll find pieces to fit small spaces, yet still hold copious amounts of clothing! Note the picture of the double drawer slides used on wide drawers to insure smooth operation with no wobble! All pieces may be ordered in a choice of finish and hardware.
